Austin Slave To Fashion

I got an email from fellow fashion lover Tyler Neal about an awesome event happening in Austin this weekend I had to share it!

Toomba Jeans and Denim Wear is partnering with the Austin affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the second annual Fashion Fusion - Music + Fashion Rocks show on Saturday, October 22nd at Aloft Hotel in the Domain at 6:30 pm.

Fashion Fusion is a celebration of fashion, music, art, poetry/spoken word, small business entrepreneurship and breast cancer awareness. This year’s Special Musical Performance will be by by finalist of NBC’s “The Voice”, TJE AUSTIN! Also performing will be Austin’s Hottest Bands - All U Need, Riders Against the Storm, Ric Ricker & Najla Dances! There will be an “I Will Survive” Tribute Runway Show featuring actual cancer survivors and runway shows by Austin’s finest designers. Dynamic poetry, silent art auctions & exclusivevendor shopping will all be a part of this fabulous event!

As a plus-size woman, I appreciate companies like Toombas because they aim to dress and celebrate women of all shapes and sizes. Plus, they support the fight against breast cancer. How could you not want to attend this event???
